About Me

I’m Jessica, owner of Hair by Jessie Lu and a master extension specialist in Huntington Beach. I’ve been in the hair industry since 2012, but my passion for extensions started the very first month of hair school when I got certified in I-Tips. Since 2016, I’ve focused exclusively on perfecting my extension craft, and I’ve never looked back.

After traveling the country doing extensions at trade shows and becoming an educator for a major extension brand in 2018, I mastered six different extension methods. My goal has always been to provide more than just beautiful hair—I want every client to feel confident, empowered, and like the absolute best version of herself when she leaves my chair. For some of my clients, extensions are truly life-changing and give them the confidence to take on anything.

I believe great extensions start with a specialist who truly listens and has integrity. Every client’s hair is unique, and I take the time during consultations to understand your goals, hair type, and lifestyle, recommending the perfect method or combination of methods for you.
